The false contradiction it implies reflects, more tellingly than any words, what is at stake today in our hyper-Capitalist society, where people believe the world is in the hands of an invisible élite. We know how much this common belief contributes to the fictionalization of a disorientated world; this neon warns us to beware of shams, and to pay critical attention to what happens in our lives.
